From ideas to action
Change needs you too
No-Extinction can start from an idea, but it can only grow through the contribution of people with different experiences, skills and points of view.
You do not need to be an expert or to dedicate a lot of time. Everyone can contribute as much as they feel able to.
It can start with one. It has to become many.
What can I do?
There is one simple thing you can do right now.
Sign the Global Petition.
The No-Extinction Global Petition calls on governments and international institutions to begin a process to build common tools able to prevent and address major global risks.
It costs nothing, involves no commitment and takes only two minutes.

Before you choose
The principles of the project, in ten points
The Manifesto sums up the vision of No-Extinction: why global problems are connected, what it means to decide with awareness, and what limits any form of power must have. Reading it helps you understand what you are contributing to.
Four possibilities
You choose how to contribute

You do not have to do everything. Every contribution helps.
Updates
Follow the project
If you simply want to know how No-Extinction evolves, you can occasionally receive updates on new initiatives, on the most important content and on the development of the project.
Exchange
Propose. Criticize. Discuss.
Ideas improve when they can be put to the test.
We want to create a space to discuss proposals, suggest alternatives, report mistakes and contribute to the development of the solutions and of the Practical Guide.
Rules of the conversation
Taking part does not mean agreeing on everything
No-Extinction wants to encourage an open exchange between people who may hold different views on individual solutions.
We do ask that the exchange be based on respect for people, willingness to verify claims, and a commitment to discussing ideas without turning disagreement into hostility.
Criticizing an idea helps the project. Attacking a person does not.
Concrete possibilities
What can I do?
We do not all have the same skills, the same time or the same possibilities.
That is why No-Extinction offers different ways to contribute, even with a small gesture.
Suggest an idea or a solution
Do you have a proposal that could improve one of the solutions on this site? Share it with us.
Offer your skills
Research, environment, energy, economics, technology, communication, law, education and other fields: different skills can help us assess and improve the proposals.
Help us check
Have you found a mistake, a figure that needs updating, a better source or a claim that should be verified? Let us know.
Help us speak to the world
Translations and language revisions can make No-Extinction accessible to a growing number of people.
Take No-Extinction beyond the website
Are you a teacher or a student, part of an association, or do you simply know people who might be interested? You can help us make No-Extinction and LAST CHANCE known.
Outreach kit
Free, ready-to-use materials to present and share the project: social images, short texts, a presentation of No-Extinction, materials dedicated to LAST CHANCE and QR codes. Currently in Italian.
Help us improve the Practical Guide
The Practical Guide is available, but it can keep improving. You can report corrections, propose new ideas, suggest concrete examples or point out aspects that could be explained better. Contributions from different skills and experiences can make it more useful, clearer and more complete.
Form
Get involved in the project
A single form for every kind of contribution. Choose the reason, tell us what you have in mind and leave a contact.
Messages go directly to the No-Extinction editorial team. Your data is used only to read and reply to your request.
Balance
Expertise and participation
Global problems concern everyone, and everyone must be able to contribute to the discussion.
But not every question can be settled through an opinion or a vote.
When a decision requires specialist knowledge, evidence and expertise must play a central role.
Expertise must not replace participation. Participation must not replace expertise.
Method
How a proposal takes shape
- Idea
- Discussion
- Verification
- Improvement
- Proposal
A proposal should not be accepted because the majority likes it or because it comes from an expert. It must be compared with data, alternatives, costs, benefits and possible consequences.
No-Extinction Forum
A space for discussion
The No-Extinction Forum makes it possible to discuss the proposals, suggest improvements, report problems and contribute to the development of the project.
The Forum is currently in Italian only.
How the Forum is organized
- Problems and data
- Solutions
- Practical Guide
- World Movement
- LAST CHANCE
- Proposals for No-Extinction
Criticizing an idea helps the project. Attacking a person does not.
From discussions to proposals
From discussions to proposals
The proposals that emerge from the community can be assessed on the basis of data, alternatives, costs, benefits and possible consequences, and then turned into clearer and more shareable content.

Scale
No movement is born global
An international community does not come into being all at once.
It begins when people living in different places discover that they share a problem and decide to try to tackle it together.
It can start with one. It has to become many.
