What happened
No-Extinction has published *If There Were a World Council*, a programme outlining 39 concrete proposals to address major global challenges.
The document explores possible measures on climate, the environment, biodiversity, peace, nuclear disarmament and artificial intelligence, together with the governance and funding mechanisms they would require.
It is not intended as a definitive programme, but as a starting point for discussion and contributions from people around the world.
Why it matters
The programme is not a closed position, but a starting point for discussion: concrete proposals on climate, the environment, biodiversity, peace, nuclear disarmament and artificial intelligence, open to contributions from anyone who wants to take part.
